STA is a studio based in Zagreb / Bangkok, founded by Petra Tikulin and Asrin Sanguanwongwan. The studio is exploring various methods for translating the functions of everyday life into aesthetic elements. We are interested in forms and shapes that go beyond their functionality and improve the quality of space, light, and experience of living.

Petra is a Croatian-born architect who spent most of her professional life moving between Croatia and Italy. From 2012-2017, she gained experience mostly in hospitality architecture/interior design working for Scott Brownrigg. In 2017, she moved to Milan to work on various exhibition design projects as a freelance architect.

Asrin Sanguanwongwan is an architect originally from Bangkok. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Chulalongkorn University in 2013. From 2013 to 2018, he worked as an architect at All(Zone) in Thailand. In 2019, he moved to Italy (Milan), where he achieved a master’s degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano.

Petra and Asrin met in 2017, during a collective exhibition in Triennale di Milano (999 questions on contemporary living). At the beginning of 2019, they joined experiences and founded STA.

Currently, the studio is developing different projects in Croatia and Thailand.
